ATG Sourcing Inc manufactures high-quality alloy steel shafts for a variety of applications in the material processing, recycling, transportation, and construction industries. Our shafts are available in sizes up to 4 meters long, 400mm in diameter, and 2 tonnes in weight. All shafts undergo a rigorous 11-stage manufacturing process to ensure they meet or exceed our customers' requirements.

Our 11 steps are as follows:

1. Cast blank from steel ingot: We begin by meticulously casting a blank from a high-quality steel ingot, establishing the foundation for a robust shaft.
2. Step forging: Through a controlled step forging process, we enhance the grain structure of the steel, refining its strength and resilience.
3. Normalising: We normalize the forged shaft to alleviate stress and achieve a uniform microstructure, ensuring consistent performance.
4. Rough machining: Excess material is meticulously removed through rough machining, bringing the shaft closer to its final shape and dimensions.
5. Hardening and tempering: We employ a precise hardening and tempering regimen, imparting exceptional hardness and wear resistance to the shaft.
6. Mechanical properties testing: The hardened and tempered shaft undergoes rigorous mechanical testing to verify that it meets our stringent performance standards.
7. Semi finishing: Semi-finishing involves refining the shaft's dimensions and shape to a higher level of precision, ensuring optimal performance.
8. Finish machining: The shaft undergoes a meticulous finish machining process, achieving the exact dimensions and surface finish required for its intended application.
